Madison Flooding
September 12, 2019

The City of Madison is experiencing flooding. Low lying areas are being evacuated. Please refrain from self dispatching to the Madison area. The command post is being set up at City Hall at 116 W Center Street. Due to the nature of the flooding, the City is effectively cut into thirds with no travel possible across town.

The Chief of Police, Justin Meyer is the Incident Commander at this point. The Utility Department at 605-256-7521 will be coordinating resources for the utility response. All calls for utility response need to go through the utilities office first.

We will be updating this information as information comes in.
